I got hacked! (or did I?)

A few miles from shore….

Be yourself; Everyone else is already taken.

Yep. At least, that is what my old provider claimed right after a WordPress core file update, you know the automatic updates that happen periodically? On my first customer support call the person wasn’t sure why the site wasn’t working and happened to mention that their hosting company sometimes failed to recognize the legitimacy of new WP core files. They started a ticket. The next day, the hosting company took down all my sites and told me that I had to hire an external company (at great expense) to clean out the “infected” files.

So, I changed hosting companies. I’m building up this new site on the fly, and I hope you will bear with me while I get this house back in order.

My goal is to have most everything back up by the end of July, though I don’t think the really old posts from 2007 will make it. Sorry about that. Whatever, it’s old news anyway.

As always, thanks for stopping by!
